State, county, city and federal procurement across all 12 Midwest states, 450+ sources plus jobs posted by other members. The busiest sources are checked every 15 minutes, the rest daily.
We match your trade.
You pick your trade and your base ZIP once. Your trades come first, then everything else is ordered by how far it is from your base ZIP, nearest first: exact miles when the notice names a city, a range when it only names a county. That ordering crosses state lines, so a job 30 miles away in the next state comes ahead of one 300 miles away in your own, and your weekly email is ordered the same way.
You get one email a week.
One digest a week on the day you pick, or daily if you would rather, each job with its deadline, a line or two of scope, and a button that opens the full card. You also get a Friday look at the week ahead, and a reminder before a bid you saved closes.
Members post work, and other members send sealed bids on it.
The government feed is half of Jobs & Bids. The other half is work that members put out to bid themselves: a GC who needs a roofer for a job they won, a plumber handing off the electrical, a property owner with a remodel.
A member posts the job.
Scope, trade, town, the budget if they want to name one, and an optional closing time for bids. It goes live within minutes. The budget locks the moment the first bid comes in.
Members bid, and the amounts are sealed.
The poster sees every amount. Bidders see only their own number and where it ranks, live, so nobody undercuts a figure on a screen. Bid again and the new number replaces the old one; withdraw any time before bidding closes.
The poster picks a bid, and then both sides sign off.
The poster picks whichever bid they want and is not required to take the lowest price. The two of you arrange scope, terms and payment directly, and when both confirm the work is done, each can leave a review.
Every Plan
Posting is included with every plan. Jobs & Bids takes no commission, finder’s fee, cut or fee of any kind on the job, ever, and is not a party to the contract between you. Members can also find each other by trade and town, send private messages, and keep a profile with reviews and completed jobs built only from real activity.

Members share finished work, ask questions and post updates. Write your own from the box at the top, comment on anyone’s, and choose between posts from everyone or from your connections only.
People
Search for members by name, company, trade or town, and connect with the ones you want to work with. Requests waiting on you, your connections and Top Members are here too.
Jobs
Work other members have posted. Open a job to place a sealed bid, post a job of your own, and keep track of the jobs you posted and the jobs you bid on.
Me
Your profile: your posts, your reviews and endorsements, and your trophies, as other members see them. Only you see the Comments tab, which lists every comment you have made, each linked to its post.
The Network is for members on a plan: reading and writing posts, finding people, commenting, connecting, bidding on jobs and posting a job.
