Do you bid for me?
You bid yourself, directly with the agency, and we are not part of the contracting process.
What if there is nothing for my trade this week?
Some weeks are thin, especially for a single trade in a single state. That is why Pro covers all 12 Midwest states instead of one, and why you can browse the whole feed on the site any day rather than waiting for the weekly email.
Do I have to be registered with the state to bid?
Sometimes, and it is the agency's call, not ours. Some ask for prequalification or a licence on file before they will take a bid. When the notice spells that out we try to show it, but treat what you see here as a heads-up rather than the rule. Ask the agency before you spend time preparing a bid.
Can a bid card be wrong?
Yes. We build these from public notices, and a card can be incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong. The agency's own notice is the official version and it beats anything you read here, so confirm the details with them before you rely on them. Whether you qualify, what you submit, and how it turns out are between you and the agency. Jobs & Bids is not responsible for the outcome.
Is the contact on every bid?
No. Pro shows the procurement contact the agency listed, when the agency provides one. Many notices do not include a person at all, and we would rather say that plainly than sell you a number that does not exist.
